There will be a panel of three (3) judges, each awarding the routine a score out of 100 marks. The marks are then averaged to achieve a final mark. Each competing routine will receive their comments and marks either on an audio CD or a flash drive.
During each adjudication session, one of our judges will speak and present their “Special Performance Award” buttons for those routines that show that extra OOMPH!!! By having our judging panel present these special awards it allows dancers and audience members to have a more personal connection to them. Each participant in a solo, duo/trio will receive an award and each participant in groups/lines will receive one award that can be displayed at the studio.
Teachers will receive audio critiques from each judge for every routine. Critiques will be in recorded form and delivered on USB Flash Drives only.
