Dynamic Dance Off

At each of our Flashdance locations, the top 10 competitive groups and/or lines in each of our age divisions are eligible to compete in the Dynamic Dance Off on the last day of competition and will perform for cash and special awards. Age categories are incorporated as follows to allow for the mini competitors:

Junior - 9 Yrs. & under

Intermediate - 10 – 13 Yrs.

Senior - 14 Yrs. & Over

Dancers may not compete more than ONCE in any age category and this means that the top 10 scoring performances cannot have an overlap of dancers entered into the Dynamic Dance Off.

Awards will be presented to the winner in each of the 3 age divisions. (cash award and 4' trophy)

Novice, Pre-Competitive, Production, Professional and Adult categories are not eligible to compete in the Dynamic Dance Off.

Results of any participants that may be eligible to participate in the Dynamic Dance Off will be announced periodically during the competition. The program will note when these announcements will take place. The current results will also be posted in the lobby of the theatre throughout the weekend. Final standings will be posted and announced following our final competitive awards session. Should a participant decide not to perform in the Dance Off, we will not recalculate any of the qualifiers and the dance off will perform with the remaining competitors that have been announced and posted.

We encourage all students, parents, family and friends to remain and support these dancers in the Dynamic Dance Off and we know that it will be an exciting evening of great entertainment with performances by the top groups and or lines.
